Every woman after menopause is at risk for osteoporosis. Fractures of the hip and spine are major causes of disability in elderly women and men. Our osteoporosis evaluation performed as part of the womens' health exams or during office visits for any other problem is designed to detect osteoporosis in women and help them to prevent future disability.
